SOUTH JUNCTION
, MANITOBA

HISTORY

Located at the junction of PTH 12 and PR 310, South Junction gets its name from the railroad due to a former junction in the tracks.  The first settlers arrived in the 1900's.  A Catholic church was built but sadly burned down.  The spirit of the people could not be extinguished and so the second and current church was built in the 1940's.

The South Junction Chamber of Commerce and the Pine Lions Club were formed to help revitalize the community.  J.L. Sturk Park waits for your visit and the town is located directly on the Can-Am Snowmobile trail.
